Knowing the temperature of your nutrient solution is important because if your nutrient solution gets too hot, it can breed alge growth and prevent the solution from holding dissolved oxygen, lowering crop yields or destroying crops through root disease.

The Boyu Nutrient Chiller makes keeping your hydroponic nutrient solution cool in a hot grow room easy. The super-refrigeration process can decrease water temperature rapidly from 35c to 18c. The over-current and overheat protection system keeps the Boyu Nutrient Chiller safe and reliable to use. It has an anti-corrosive pure titanium evaporator for fresh and salt water, emits low noise while maintaining the selected temperature and uses environmentally friendly refrigerant R-134a.

The Boyu Nutrient Chiller works by the pump taking nutrient solution from the tank, through the chiller unit to cool to the temperature set by the user, then returning the nutrient to the tank to circulate again, keeping your  nutrient system at your desired temperature. This makes it ideal for hydroponic systems, especially so with R-DWC, DWC, and NFT systems, and for use in the summer.

Note: Requires compatible water pumps and may require tubing and connectors. Boyu Nutrient Chillers need to be stood upright for 24hrs prior to use to allow settling.
